nvidia-319 software package provides Transitional package for nvidia-319, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install nvidia-319
nvidia-319 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the nvidia-319 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep nvidia-319 *
You will get with nvidia-319 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
